Applications for the following vacancies are invited on prescribed form, downloadable from and accompanied by original deposit slip showing Online Deposit (HBL MA Johar Town Branch A/C # 22167900286001) / Pay Order / Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (for Sr. No. 1 to 8) and Rs. 300/- (for Sr. No. 9 to 15) in favor of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design as Application Fee. Appointment will be offered on contract basis initially for one year.
Sr.#    Post    Qualification & Experience
1.    Assistant Professor / Lecturer    As per HEC Criteria  (
Paqes/EliqibilitvCriteria.aspx) for Textile Desiqn, Fashion Marketinq & Merchandising and Fashion Design Department.
2.    Teaching Associate    Minimum 4 Year Bachelors Degree or Equivalent (with major in relevant field) from HEC recognized university or any accredited foreign university for Textile Design, Fashion Design, Leather Accessories & Footwear and Fashion Marketing & Merchandising Department. Experience of working in an educational institution will be preferred.
3.    Deputy Registrar    Masters Degree or Equivalent from HEC recognized university with 5 years relevant / administrative experience.
4.    Deputy Course Coordinator (Fashion Design)    Masters Degree or Equivalent in First Division from HEC  recognized university with no 3[d Division in academic career. Three years relevant experience will be preferred in Fashion Design.
5.    Assistant IT Manager    Masters / B.Sc (Hons) in any field of IT from some reputed foreign or / HEC recognized University / Institution. 3 years of total IT experience in particular software development.
6.    Public Relations Officer    Masters Degree in Journalism from a recognized University having at least 4 years experience in the relevant field. Should be fluent in English and fully conversant with requirements and responsibilities of the job.
7.    Assistant Registrar    Masters Degree in 2nd Division with 2-3 year experience in the relevant field in any reputed Institute.
8.    Civil Engineer    B.Sc (Engineering) in relevant field with two years experience.
9.    Supervisor (Maintenance)    Diploma in Civil / Electrical Technology from recognized Institution.
10.    Technician Electrical/ Electronic    Three years Diploma of Associate Engineer Electrical / Electronic  from Board of Technical Education or any recognized Institute with 3 years experience in the relevant field.
11.    Printing & Dyeing Technician    Matric with practical knowledge of handling different natural / synthetic dyes on different textile materials and screen printing & exposing with minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
12.    Carpenter/Helper    Middle. Skilled worker with relevant experience.
13.    Generator Operator / Tube Well Operator    Matric with 2 years TTC Diploma OR 3 years apprenticeship.
14.    Lab Assistant    Matric with 5 years experience of Jewellery Manufacturing preference will be give to expect of CAD.
15.    Technical Assistant    Diploma / Certificate in Shoe Designing, Modeling and Pattern-Cutting with 4 years experience in shoe industry.
Last date for receipt of applications, complete in all respects, will be 19′” August 2013. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. Shortlisted candidates only will be called for interview.
